Roast pork and char siew are excellent, right amount of fats and lean meat. Steamed three eggs are light. Stir-fried aubergine with salted shrimp is really good, not too salty and has the taste of wok in it. Ambience with the sound of flowing water from the fountain is calming. Food is served quickly. Also, the waitresses here are more friendly than the Siu Siu in Seputeh. If you want to order their roast pork and char siew, reserve in advance by calling the restaurant because they only serve these on specific days. We come here for dinner on Saturday.

The place is very spacious and it has a pond to beautified the place. We came to know the place due to the siu siu restaurant near thean hou temple is fully booked. Surprisingly the food is good as well. They already have set for CNY 2025. Will come back again.

We tried their Chinese New Year set menu along with their signature char siu. The char siu lived up to its reputation, super delicious. While most of the dishes in the CNY set were decent, the portion sizes seemed small. Despite being seated in a private room, we struggled to get the attention of the wait staff, and the food took a while to arrive. Overall, it's a decent spot for Chinese cuisine.

We decided to stop to eat dinner as traffic was a little heavy. Shop was quiet but the friendly staff was quick to usher us and got us the menu. A few recommendations were made and we ordered promptly. Food came almost at the same time piping hot and smelling absolutely fragrant. The char siu truly just melted in the mouth. The curry was super fragrant although the taste didn't match the smell, it was still good with loads of fish fillets. Everything was so good and we finished EVERYTHING!

A nice family sit down restaurant. Very spacious. The char siew flavors are amazing and melts in your mouth. Their stir fried vegetables (we ordered eggplant and yau mak) and meat dishes are also all nicely done.

Honestly, I personally know the owners of this place and I'm not writing a review because of that. I'm writing this because I feel this place doesn't get enough attention as they should! I've frequent this branch and the original one (near Mid Valley) many times before. The menu would most likely have all the common items that you would find in a Chinese restaurant but they have some specialties that are worth mentioning. Just ask for a recommendation and they will give you some of the popular and favourite items on the menu. Eventhough everything is good, their specialties are the river fishes and char siew (only limited quantities each day). I've introduced this place to my friends who live in Damansara that would drive to KL just to have char siew here and to tapau some home for later. I would say, best is to call ahead just to check if the char siew is still available if you're planning to try it out. This place is huge with indoor (there's a small section with AC and the rest is with fan) and outdoor gazebo seating. So it's a good place to host big gatherings, office or family dinners. There's also a huge stage (with mics and speakers etc) in the restaurant so if you're thinking of hosting a big birthday party or anniversary dinner, you may use the stage for your get together as well. It also has a huge (free) parking lot upfront with a parking attendant. So, if you're around KL and would like to have some seafood or Chinese food and not want to deal with looking for a parking spot and is away from all the busy streets, crowds and tight spaces, I'd recommend for you to try this place out :)
